Enter numeric value with unit answers

You lot can enter answers to number with unit questions on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
To get total credit on these questions: Enter BOTH the value and unit of measurement parts of the answer, such equally 26 kg. Sometimes the unit of measurement is provided for y'all.

These instructions apply to inbound answers in either the Value or Units answer boxes.

Toolbar

  • Use the Templates menu for special formats like exponent and fraction.

Keyboard for letters and numbers

You can enter any of the numeric characters and symbols shown in the table beneath.
Integers (such as 1024), decimal numbers (such as one.024), and scientific notation (such equally 5.ii*104) are all acceptable. For scientific notation, you tin either use your keyboard or choose this format from the Templates bill of fare.

  • Use just unit abbreviations. Practise Non add a menstruation later whatsoever unit.
  • Units are example-sensitive.
  • Mastering can accept every bit correct a unit answer that is equivalent to the correct respond. For case, if the correct answer is ii V and you lot enter 2000 mV, you will receive full credit. See next point for an exception to this rule.
